Is Bilance safe?
Yes. When you connect a bank, you approve the access yourself in your own bank’s app, and Bilance only ever gets read-only access through licensed European open-banking providers. Your data is stored encrypted on Google Cloud servers in the EU.
Can Bilance move or spend my money?
No. Bilance can see your transactions and balances, but it cannot make payments, move money, or change anything in your bank account. The access your bank grants is read-only and cannot be turned into anything more.
Can Bilance see my bank login?
No. You always log in on your own bank’s app or website. Your password goes to your bank, and only to your bank. Bilance receives a temporary permission from your bank, never your login details.
Do I have to connect my bank?
No. You can add your income and expenses manually if you prefer. Connecting a bank is simply what makes Bilance automatic: transactions arrive and get categorised on their own.
Is Bilance free?
You can try Bilance for free. The trial gives you the full app, every feature included. After the trial, Bilance is a paid subscription.
How does Bilance make money?
From subscriptions our users pay. There are no ads in Bilance. Our business is built on creating an app you love enough to pay for.
Does Bilance sell my data?
No. We don’t sell your personal data. Any data we collect is used to make Bilance better for you.
How do I disconnect a bank?
In the Bilance app: pause the syncing or delete the bank connection, and new data stops flowing right away. The permission your bank issued also expires by itself after a while and is only renewed if you agree.
What happens when I delete my account?
Deleting your account erases your data from Bilance: transactions, balances, and account details. Backups are kept for 7 days for safety, then everything is permanently gone.
