Spiir alternative: data export after closure

Spiir closed permanently on 8 June 2026. You can no longer log in or create a new export. If you saved an export before the shutdown, keep it for your records. If you want to track your finances again, you can start fresh by connecting your bank accounts to Bilance.

What happened to your Spiir data?

Spiir’s closure notice said login access would end on 8 June 2026, bank data collection would stop, and personal data would then be deleted or anonymised when no longer needed.

The normal export window has therefore closed. If you did not save a file before the shutdown, you cannot create a new export through the Spiir app or website. Spiir’s privacy notice still allows you to make a manual request for personal data that it continues to hold, but this is not a guaranteed way to recover your old transaction history because data may already have been deleted or anonymised.

If you already have a Spiir file, see what to do with your saved export. Bilance does not currently support importing Spiir export files.

FAQ

When did Spiir close? Spiir closed on 8 June 2026. Its official notice said users would no longer be able to log in from that date.

Can I still export my Spiir data? Not through Spiir’s app or website. If you did not export before the shutdown, you can ask Spiir’s privacy team for any personal data it still holds, but recovery is not guaranteed.
