Bilance

Why Bilance

Bilance is the budgeting app built for European banks — it connects all your accounts automatically and does the categorizing for you. The point of all of it is our mission: helping you stop wasting money. You get a holistic overview of your whole financial life, and the waste (unused subscriptions, quiet price increases, spending that does not match your plans) has nowhere to hide.

Bilance at a glance

What you get

One feed for all your banks. Salary at a local bank, savings at a second, Revolut for travel: Bilance merges them into one chronological feed and one balance on the Dashboard. "CARD PURCHASE 12345 AMAZON EU SARL" becomes "Amazon", in the right category.

Analytics you will actually look at. The Overview tab breaks spending down by category, merchant and tag, tracks your savings rate, and shows six-month trends. If you have never seen your own spending by category, the first chart tends to be a small event: "€460 on eating out?" is easier to act on than a feeling.

Budgets and subscriptions in one place. The Planning tab holds Budgets (monthly limits with live progress and per-month overrides) and Recurring payments, which finds your subscriptions and bills in the synced data, totals them, and marks missed ones as overdue. When a subscription's price creeps up, the change is right there in the list.

Answers about your own money. AI Chat reads your real transactions, budgets and recurring payments, so "what did the Spain trip cost?" or "can I afford this car lease?" gets answered from your numbers, not generic tips. It reads and advises; it never edits your data and it is not an investment advisor.

The whole picture. Net worth combines bank balances with manually tracked assets and debts (home, investments, pension, loans). Shared Finances lets couples share chosen accounts while private ones stay private. And every completed month ends with a Monthly report: what happened, which budgets held, what to change.

How Bilance compares

Against a spreadsheet: a spreadsheet is free and endlessly flexible, but it only works while you keep feeding it, and a busy week is usually where that stops. Bilance's feed fills itself in, so a holiday or a stressful month leaves no gap.

Against your banking app: a banking app is built for using money, and it is excellent at that: payments, cards, loans, your balance. Bilance is built for managing money: understanding where it actually goes, planning with budgets and Recurring payments, and building the habits that make savings grow. And it works across all your banks and accounts together, not one institution at a time.

Against US-first budgeting apps: tools like YNAB have a strong budgeting method, and some have been adding European bank connections. The difference is the starting point: Bilance is built around European coverage first, with 2,300+ banks connected through open banking, in 24 languages and in euros. Is Bilance safe?

Bank access is read-only and goes through regulated open-banking providers, so Bilance can never touch your money. Data is stored on Google Cloud Platform (ISO/IEC 27001 certified, SOC 2 audited), the app locks with PIN or Face ID, and deleting your account erases your data, with backups clearing within 7 days. Frequently asked questions

Does Bilance work with my bank?

Bilance connects to 2,300+ banks across 31 European countries through open banking. Check your bank on the bank coverage page.

Is Bilance safe to connect to my bank?

Yes. Bilance never sees your bank login. Access is read-only through regulated open-banking providers (GoCardless SAS and Enable Banking Oy), so Bilance can see transactions and balances but can never move money.

Can I use Bilance together with my partner?

Yes. Shared Finances connects two accounts and lets each person choose, bank account by bank account, what to share. Both see the household picture; private accounts stay private.
